Milan Savic received his degree in Saxophone Performance and Music Education at the Novi Sad Academy of Arts in the class of Gordan Tudor, and also holds a Clarinet Degree from Belgrade University’s Faculty of Music Art, where he studied in class of Ante Grgin.

During his musical education, Savić attended a number of master classes held by acclaimed professors. From 2006 works in Music school Josip Slavenski as a teacher of clarinet and saxophone and his students have won many prizes at international and state competitions. While still a student, Savić won several state music competitions, held live concerts on television and radio, and performed throughout Serbia as a clarinet soloist accompanied by the capitol’s Youth Philharmonic. His credits include performances at Belgrade’s Kolarac Hall, as well as Negotin’s prestigious Days of Mokranjac Music Festival. As a saxophonist he has had numerous solo recitals across Serbia, held the master classes in Serbia and abroad: Alpen Classica Fest – Italy, concert tour in France with pianist Uki Ovaskainen, he performed as soloist with RTS Simphony orchestra, Ensemble Metamorphosis string orchestra and the Grand chamber orchestra at the Hall of Belgrade philharmonics, premiered pieces by renowned Serbian composers such as Ivan Jevtić, Aleksandar Sedlar, Ivan Brkljačić, Ante Grgin and others. In addition to his work as a soloist, Savić frequently collaborates with the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of RadioTelevision Serbia, and the Madlenianum Opera and Theatre, touring Serbia and abroad (Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Russia). He is director of the International saxophone festival Belgrade Saxperience which follows great reviews of the public. Festival aims to educate young people, enrich the repertoire for saxophone, promote saxophone versatility and welcomes most important saxophonist of our time with the support of Serbian Ministry of Culture and Information and the City of Belgrade Secretariat for Culture, French institute, Italian institute, U.S Embassy, Austrian Cultural Forum, Embassy of Belgium.
